I've bought many hiking boots over the years, and these Ontario Mids are among the best. The ankle support is fantastic without feeling restrictive. The black color looks sharp enough to wear casually too. After three weeks of daily use in varied weather, they still look brand new. Definitely worth every penny.

Solid construction. The leather feels durable. They run slightly narrow, so if you have wide feet, maybe size up or look elsewhere. Otherwise, great boot.

They are okay. Waterproofing is good, but I found the arch support lacking for my high arches. Had to add insoles to make them comfortable for long walks.
